Gabe Kaplan Is Out As Host Of The Series”High Stakes Poker” By Comedian Norm MacDonald.
Game Show Network people have changed things again in regard to “High Stakes Poker”, and is not likely for the better. Gabe Kaplan is out as host of the series after six seasons and is being replaced by comedian Norm MacDonald.
Kaplan worked alone in the booth last season, but fell a little flat, not AJ Benza, who is still the best poker commentator. MacDonald may be a “fervent” player (as GSN press release), but will not be able to match the cash Kaplan gaming experience ever.
