Smurfette 
The battered and bruised version of Smurfette is history, the now strong and healthy seal was released back into the Salish Sea this week. A month ago the young seal was whisked from Ogden Point by an animal lover and driven to the Peninsula where she hopped a water taxi to rehabilitate at Island Wildlife Natural Care Centre on Salt Spring Island.
