Unemployment Benefits 
This Bill originated from the “Tax Extenders Bill” . If you recall, due to Pay As You Go, Congress had to keep extending certain benefits to the unemployed and those on the COBRA subsidiary. Finally, as a compromise to the GOP, the Democrats dropped the COBRA extension, and reduced unemployment Insurance payouts, to get the vote through. This extension expires November 30th, 2010.
