We first heard RockMelt, backed by the Netscape browser running developer Marc Andreessen, a little more than a year. This was in stealth mode since then, but in the end on Monday a beta version was made available to the public. It is based on fast, high-HTML5-compliant Chrome foundation that comes from the Chrome browser.
