The NBER has Officially Dated at The End Of The Great Recession In June 2009

The Business Cycle Dating Committee of the National Bureau for Economic Research met yesterday by conference call. At its meeting, the committee determined that a trough in economic activity took place in the American economy in June 2009. The low point marks the end of the recession that began in December 2007 and the start of an expansion.
