After a delay of four months, the spacecraft world’s most traveled launched in the sky for its last journey. NASA Discovery cleared for takeoff last week, announcing that it had resolved a problem caused by cracks in the fuel tank. The trip to the International Space Station marks what could be the last of three space shuttle launches at NASA. The shuttle Endeavor is set to launch in April, as commander Mark Kelly, Rep. Gabrielle Gifford’s husband. Atlantis plans to fly in June.
