Democratic U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum has received death threats on Wednesday on his amendment to a bill to end funding expenditures Pentagon for NASCAR, Talking Points Memo reports. McCollum amendment would strip $ 7 million that goes to NASCAR each year to announce the U.S. Army. McCollum said in tough economic times that the money should be spent on veterans.
